We are currently working with residents from 10 amazing homes and it has been the best! However, did you know that you don’t need to be affiliated with a home to join our BEI sessions? If you yourself are interested or know any seniors interested in participating (ask your parents or grandparents or friends!!), have them email us at [email protected] and we’ll start setting up sessions right away!!

Welcome everyone!
BEI is a nonprofit organization that focuses on preventing memory loss by implementing brain exercises such as simple math and reading and writing. Recently founded by Esin Gumustekin, a student from UCLA, this program has now been implemented nationwide across 49 different universities! Here at the UCSB chapter, our members connect with various retirement homes around the Santa Barbara county where we conduct daily sessions with our local seniors. We hope to use this page to share more of what we do and to bring more awareness towards Alzheimer's Disease. Like and follow our page to stay updated!
