At the end of the day, that’s really all that matters.

A little romance, a little nostalgia, candlelight, champagne, and a heart cake that didn’t take itself too seriously. Honestly…perfect.

If I had gotten the call from Anna Wintour for this year’s Met Gala and its “costume art” energy…this would’ve been the look.

A little couture.

A little Keith Haring energy reimagined through my lens.

Drama in the train, sharp tailoring, bold graphic movement, and just enough attitude to make the photographers work for it. The kind of look that walks the line between fashion fantasy and classic elegance…which honestly is where I love to live creatively.

Not costume for the sake of costume.
Storytelling through fashion.

And yes…there absolutely would’ve been a moment halfway up those stairs where I stopped, turned, and gave them the shot.
