Modern Calligraphy Workshop

We're excited to announce a Modern calligraphy class next Sunday, August 18th.

Modern calligraphy is a beautiful, yet playful artform that stems from traditional techniques of calligraphy. In its stylistic twists and curves it adds a fresh and creative flair to correspondences, parties, decorations, art projects, and more.

In this call you will be introduced to the basic modern calligraphy alphabet and teach you beginner techniques you can use to practice making letter forms. You’ll learn about the tools and materials every modern calligrapher needs starting with how to hold and use the pen, as well as basic strokes. By the end of the class you'll be well on your way to developing your own modern calligraphy style!

Feng Shui is the belief in balance and harmony, which serve to guide energy and promote stability in the places where we live and work. Mastering Feng Shui means understanding the deep connections of placement, arrangement and polarity, and how they come together to define a room’s Qi.

Good fortune is a basic tenet of Feng Shui and good fortune can manifest in many ways whether that be better health, a successful career, or a fulfilling love life. In this workshop you will learn the tools to practice and analyze spaces for this 6,000 year old set of principles.
