First Tee - Silicon Valley

🏌️ Summer is here — and so is another round of First Tee National Opportunities! 🌟 Every year, our most dedicated, long-standing First Tee – Silicon Valley participants earn the chance to apply for these unique, once-in-a-lifetime experiences. This year, FTSV submitted 24 applications across 4 different National Opportunities — and we couldn't be prouder to celebrate our 8 selected participants! 🎉

Here's who's representing FTSV this summer:

🎓 First Tee College Scholar – Class of 2026 — Natalie Chen was accepted into this incredible program offering a college scholarship, career mentorship, and internships throughout their four years of college.

⛳ First Tee National Championship (Chapel Hill, NC • June 21–25) — Three FTSV teens are representing our chapter on the national stage in North Carolina. Good Luck Alexis Chu, Annie Lu, and Arden Xu.

🏫 First Tee Game Changers Academy (Honoring Joe Louis Barrow, Jr. • Minneapolis • July 8–12) — Four FTSV participants were selected to attend this summer. Congrats Alonso Jose, Adam Rosas, Julia Villa and Varnika Arun.

And we're just getting started — selections for the Innovators Forum, Drive Your Future Academy, and the PURE Insurance Championship at Pebble Beach are still to come!

Dear Coach Julia... Thank You! 🙏 Hearing it straight from the kids says it all. The bonds formed between our participants and coaches like Julia are what make First Tee - Silicon Valley truly special. Coach Julia doesn't just teach the game — she builds confidence, character, and life skills that our young people carry with them long after they leave the course.

This is why we do what we do. Trusted, trained, and caring coaches like Julia are the heartbeat of our program — showing up every day to make a difference in the lives of our kids and our community.
