drew Perona in my new experimental tsundere/resting face style! been really liking how much more freehand and moody it is, so maybe I'll try to draw some more in the future? 😁

1 month+ so far...
..of taking antidepressants. I didn't realize how many people have taken meds for depression until I asked for advice and shared my own experience. 🥹 I'm so thankful to my friends and family and my partner for being so supportive during this time.

I started this drawing yesterday on my iPad. This is basically chibi me inside a prescription bottle with my pills, surrounded by a fairy ring. The monarch butterfly here symbolizes hope and change. 🙏

My experience so far after 1 month:
(Note: this is my personal experience, not medical advice. Individual experiences vary.)
• less frequent & shorter ruminating
• generally less intense emotions
• drastically reduced menstrual pain
• occasional acid reflux
- drinking yogurt to help
- tried to switch to taking meds with lunch
• decreased appetite
- being more careful about nutrition
• lower energy levels; almost fainted once
- adding stretches & exercise gradually
• occasional nausea/headache
• still low motivation, low productivity
• still have some tough days & overwhelm
• began to have more traumatic nightmares
- switching back to taking meds at night to check if the cause is timing
• interrupted sleep; potential sleep apnea
- talking to primary doctor

We shall see how things go and if I need an adjustment to my meds. 🫡 Feel free to share your own experience with antidepressants!

My priority now is getting my physical health and medical health back in shape, so sometimes I need a few more days to pack orders, and shop updates will probably be a lot slower. 🥹 Thanks for your understanding!
