Friends Outside in Santa Cruz is a Program of The Volunteer Center of Santa Cruz. The Good Times magazine wrote a feature article about how to take care of yourself physically, mentally, and spiritually so that you may take care of your community. Folks, it’s time to center ourselves and strengthen ourselves so that we can come together virtually and begin our annual campaign.
Please continue to follow this page for more information on how to donate to Friends Outside via The Human Race and support our mission of “Providing Hope, Supporting Change and Restoring Justice” to justice systems-involved individuals!

Hello friends of Friends Outside! One month from now Friends Outside Santa Cruz will be participating in the Human Race. This is our biggest fund raising event of the year where we walk/run/jog in the Spirit of Social Justice AND 100% of your donation goes directly to Friends Outside to support the work we do. As an independent chapter and a program of the Volunteer Center of Santa Cruz, we rely heavily on the generosity of our community through volunteer labor and financial donations. A simple donation of $10 ensures that a person being released from jail has a hygiene kit and socks/underwear. Every dollar donated is thoughtfully put towards improving the life of someone who is involved with the criminal justice system. We've made it easy to donate this year by following the link and searching for Friends Outside.Thank you for your continuous support to our mission! "Donate today at www.humanracesc.org"
