I am endlessly drawn to natural stone. There’s something primal about it—a direct connection to the earth beneath our feet. Its presence in a space feels grounding, ancient, and alive.⁠

No matter how far technology takes us, humans have not been able to mimic the beauty of natural stone. That doesn’t mean there isn’t a place for human-made materials—each has its time and purpose. That said, I tend to gravitate to natural stone more often than not.⁠

Some debate its durability or fear the wear. But to me, that’s the point. Natural stone ages with us. It holds the moments we live: the scratch from your child’s first solo attempt at slicing fruit, the faint mark from that night a friend spilled wine while you laughed together in the kitchen. These aren’t imperfections—they’re memories.⁠

In its patina, it's aging, natural stone tells a story. Just like us, it is perfectly imperfect. And I find that profoundly beautiful.⁠
