Ānuenue means "rainbow" in Hawaiian, and it also symbolizes hope, love, equality, and joy. In Hawaiian mythology, it is considered a bridge between the earthly and divine worlds, serving as a celestial gateway for gods to descend to Earth and for spirits of the dead to travel to the heavens.
