Good afternoon! Today on , we pay tribute to the one and only Clarence Carter, who passed away this past Wednesday, May 13 at the age of 90. Those of you who are longtime NSDR listeners may remember DJ Abel (the creator of the show) used to play “Strokin’” every week at the start of the show. 

We will honor two singers who have birthdays this week! Stevie Wonder, who turned 76 on May 13, and Raphael Saadiq, who is 60 years old today.
