Sunday Sessions
It’s been incredible watching our athletes show up every weekend committed to getting better. One of the most rewarding parts has been seeing the growth of our girls flag football players. Their dedication to learning the game, developing new skills, preventing injuries through proper technique, and growing as leaders has been amazing to witness.
As a coach, there’s nothing better than sharing the knowledge I’ve gained throughout my football journey and then watching these young athletes turn around and teach and inspire others. That’s when you know the lessons are sticking.
This play by Ella Porter is a perfect example. She tracked the ball with her eyes from start to finish, trusted her training, and made a great play. These are the moments that remind us why we put in the work when nobody is watching. The early mornings, the repetition, the discipline, and the commitment all show up in moments like this.
Success isn’t built on game day. It’s built during the countless hours of preparation. And seeing these athletes grow in confidence, skill, and leadership is what Sunday Sessions is all about.
