A year and a half ago I honored to be asked to carve a memorial / grave stone for a good friends family member. Being brought into that process with this family was a honor amongst many other things. A weathered piece of Tenino sandstone was driven down and this gravestone was hand carved with hammer, chisel and alot of intention. Sometimes cemeteries can feel lonely and vacant, sometimes they can be beautiful (in their own way) and vibrant. Its truly an honor to have provided just one layer of the beauty, intention, vibrancy and care that makes this grave site and memorializes life. RIP WISH.
