Last June, I had the privilege of winning first place in the Senior division of the Nina Simone Piano Competition. This unforgettable moment came with a $10,000 prize and the incredible opportunity to perform Liszt Piano Concerto No.1 alongside the talented musicians of the Orchestra led by the renowned Maestro this past weekend.
