We have sadly learned of the passing of one of our former core troupe members. Koo Koo LaRue, was a member of Zircus Erotique from 2010-2013. She performed with us at festivals such as the Southwest Burlesque Festival ,at our regular shows as well as as a guest in other local burlesque and variety shows. She was known for her fun energy and comedic numbers including AC/DC’s “Big Balls” during which she paraded around in a giant ball gown covering her later reveal of big balloons between her legs . She brought a great energy to the troupe and welcomed every guest with a smile. Koo Koo had left performing and moved from Santa Fe to the Pacific Northwest where she started a family. Sadly she lost her long battle with cancer last winter. We love you Koo Koo and are sending love to your friends and family. 🤍
