It was towards the end of my time at and I was feeling especially demotivated, uninspired, depressed. Whatever you wanna call that feeling that comes when you’ve been working really hard towards something for too long and still don’t see a clear pathway or any quantifiable results. I didn’t feel like making music, extremely burnt out and in my lowest low a team of 10 gifted writers, producer, artists and all round amazing people decided to put their faith in me for 5 days. We made 5 songs that week in May and today they’re yours.
All the mentors I’ve been grateful to learn from in the last couple years including & emphasized the importance of surrounding yourself with like-minded musicians who share similar goals. That week in May 2025 I realised why? — It’s because when you move in a pack if one falls down the others lift him back up, almost always higher than he could’ve stood on his own.
