Oven Roasted Kobocha Squash & Parsnips- A lovely combination: the kabocha squash, with its rich, chestnut-like feel and flavor, along with the soft sweetness of the parsnips. We cut them up, mix them with a bit of extra virgin olive oil and salt, and roast them in a very hot oven. Made with farmers' market kabocha squash and Weiser Farms parsnips.

Last Sunday in the kitchen: French Onion Tart -Adapted from one of my mother's recipes, and a wonderful memory from home: Made with plenty of caramelized onions, a mix of grated cheeses, and our fresh made pie crust. Here they are fresh from the oven, and ready for packaging.
