Thank you to everyone who picked up trash during our month-long Russian River Watershed Cleanup!

We’re still crunching the numbers, but we pulled out at least 16 tires, 4 appliances, and lots and lots of single-use food packaging.

This year, cleanups will take place throughout the Russian River Watershed each weekend of September. It’s easy to participate and we provide all the gloves, trash grabbers, and bags. Volunteers will receive a special gift!

Now that summer is over it's time to start thinking about cleaning up the river before the first big rains flush that trash out to sea! Registration is now open to sign up for the Russian River Watershed Cleanup! The event is on Saturday, September 21 from 8:30am to 11:30am, and check-in hubs will be at Ukiah, Cloverdale, Healdsburg, Forestville, Guerneville, and Monte Rio.
