Mason Nordby showed up at Troy's job site Friday morning at 6:30AM with his PPE on ready to work.

The construction industry is facing a real challenge. A generation of skilled tradespeople is approaching retirement, and the question of who fills that gap is one our industry is grappling with. If the next generation is willing to show up and do the work, and we are willing to lead and trust them, we have nothing to worry about.

A big thanks to Analy High School who offered construction classes and an OSHA 10 certification in school. We love to see it.

Since its founding in 1981, Auction Napa Valley has raised more than $245 million for the Napa community. Last weekend at the newly renovated Robert Mondavi Winery, the Nordby team was proud to be in the room for another remarkable chapter of that story. This year's proceeds crossed the $250 million mark in total funds raised.

Hats off to Napa Valley Vintners for the incredible work they do every year putting on this amazing event. This year's proceeds support the Youth Wellness Initiative, various Napa school wellness centers, after-school programs, local mental health services, and family resources through partners like the Boys & Girls Clubs, Mentis, Girls on the Run, and the Napa Valley Education Foundation.

New project breaking ground!

The Napa Valley Grapegrowers have spent decades championing the farmers and families behind one of the world's great wine regions. Now they are getting a headquarters worthy of that legacy. Nordby Construction is honored to be building their new office on Highway 29 in Oakville.

This two story modern farmhouse office is nestled in the corner of the iconic Beckstoffer To Kalon vineyard. We could not be more proud to be their construction partner and work with some of our favorite design experts at Taylor Lombardo Architects and Applied Civil Engineering.
