If you spent time in our kitchens or gardens as a Teen Chef or Gardener, we want to hear from you!

Over the years, hundreds of incredible young people have stepped up to cook, grow, and nourish neighbors experiencing serious illness. Now, we want to catch up and hear where your journey has taken you since graduating from our youth development program.

Whether your time at Ceres sparked a passion for your current career, shaped your community involvement, inspired your everyday cooking, or simply left you with lasting memories, sharing your journey helps inspire the next generation of youth.

Are you a Ceres Alum? We would love for you to share your story and let us know how Ceres impacted your life. Drop us a DM, leave a comment below, or reach out to us directly to catch up!

Even if you weren't a teen volunteer yourself, you likely know someone who was! Please share this post to your stories or tag a former Ceres teen in the comments below. πŸ’š

We want to send a huge thank you to everyone who joined us this past Friday for our second hands-on permaculture workshop! πŸŒ³πŸ… It was wonderful to welcome back familiar faces from our first session and meet new friends ready to get their hands in the dirt.

Thanks to the incredible group effort and hard work, the back fence of our new home is officially on its way to becoming a thriving food forest! Together, we planted out some fantastic fruit trees, including Pineapple Guava, Black Mission Fig, Passionfruit, and Mexicola Grande Avocado. We can’t wait to watch this vibrant community space grow and produce nourishment for years to come. πŸ₯‘βœ¨

If you missed out, you still have one more chance to learn with us! We are hosting the final workshop in this three-part series:

πŸ—“οΈ When: Friday, June 26 | 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm
