🌡️🌤️SANTA ROSA Weather UPDATE:
A Heat Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service for a majority of the Bay Area including ALL of Santa Rosa. The Advisory goes into effect Thursday June 11th from noon until 11 p.m. The NWS expects high temperatures reaching the 90s to the triple digits within the North Bay Valleys including Santa Rosa, CA.

🚩🌡️Impacts:

⚠️Moderate Risk for heat-related illnesses for pets, livestock, and those who are sensitive to heat, especially those without effective cooling and/or adequate hydration.
⚠️Prolonged exposure to heat can result in heat stroke and heat exhaustion.
The elderly, children, Houseless community members, and those already with health issues are the most at risk.
⚠️Dehydration, hyperthermia, and heat cramps could impact those who do not take precautions.
⚠️Do not leave children or pets in unattended vehicles.
⚠️Shift activities outdoors to cooler times of the day.
