Who Are We
The Association of Compost Producers (ACP) is the official USCC state chapter in California. We serve as a resource for networking, training, and education, developing professional opportunities and advocacy. Chapter members work on localized, critical topics that impact your bottom line and align themselves closely with compost producers, municipal officers, consultants, educators, and haulers.
Members participate in ACP monthly member meetings to interact, collaborate and contribute ongoing with your compost producer colleagues. Leverage your organization's marketing dollars, by pooling your dues investment with other composters to help expand overall compost awareness and use in the marketplace including a blueprint plan and a roadmap.
The Association of Compost Producers is a non-profit, 501(c)6, a trade association of public and private organizations dedicated to increasing the quality, value and amount of compost being produced and used in California. We do this by promoting activities and regulations that build healthy soil, benefiting people and the environment.
Dan Noble serves as the executive director of ACP sharing over 25 years of environmental market research, publishing and strategic consulting experience. ACP members work and invest together to increase compost markets and improve compost product and manufacturing standards. The association provides education and communication on compost benefits and proper use through the support of scientific research, and legislation, aligned with developing and expanding quality compost markets.
