Maria Carrillo Adobe Restoration by SRHS History Club

Santa Rosa High History Club, it's been a great summer and we have lots of projects to work on in the coming school year. However, big news and in huge part because of your efforts the Carrillo Adobe has been nominated to be put on the National Register of Historic Places. this will give the adobe and surrounding area protection from development and destruction. We're on our way to creating some kind of park perhaps even an historic interpretation park that schools will be able to bring students to. In addition we have representatives at the UNESCO meetings in San Diego to make it a World Heritage site. History Club, YOU BUILT THIS!

The SRHS History Club will be cleaning up the grounds around the adobe this Saturday at 9 am. We'll be accompanied by several professors several professors of history, anthropology and archeology. Its gonna be a great outing!
