Brown pigments are made up of blue, red and yellow 🔵🔴🟡⁣
⁣
Depending on the type of pigment, darkness of color, and the your skin tone the tone of the pigment will shift in the skin over time as they fade out.⁣
⁣
Yellow and red pigment particles tend to fade quicker from the skin than blue particles. The darker the color 👉🏻 the more blue present. ⁣
⁣
Over time your brows may slowly start to shift to the cooler / gray side of the spectrum as the yellow and red particles lighten. ⁣
⁣
When this happens, you know they’re ready for a touch up! A warmer pigment is used to bring them back to a neutral brown.⁣
⁣
This could take anywhere from 1-3 years depending on the individual.⁣
