This Will Not Match Your Couch

Has anyone checked out any of the thousands of photographic classes that advertise all over the web ?

At best they offer some sort of certification, for what ever that is worth, and in most cases they offer only the course itself.

But really if you pay more then $20.00 you should come out understanding why a 12mp phone camera is crap against a 12 mp 4/3rds and why a 12mp 4/3rds camera is crap against a 12mp full frame camera.

I am a decent photographer, but I can not afford the cameras that I want. So I got the cameras that are the most adjustable ones that I could afford.

Since most of my friends are content with viewing the few images that I do put up, even though they know that as far as FB I only put up the worst of what I do.

Since I do feel that there will come a day when people decide that having a work of art by me on there wall makes there room more interesting, and well worth the price.

That and I am going to start pricing my work as if I had paid the price of the local high-end photo lab.

Another reason that I get better images from my imaging device is that I was forced as a child to keep track of all the data that is now called meta data. So I understand how to set up a camera for the shot that I am after. That includes the type light the color temp of the light and so on.

Anyway if you come across any courses that offer Masters or Doctorate programs then I am interested. But until then I am just going to keep writing my own courses so that I might enjoy the funding that sub standard photographic writers enjoy. I am selling out so that I can have fun and collect at the same-time.
