We’re proud to announce the incredible group of coaches leading our boys and girls programs from Pre-Academy through ECNL this upcoming season. These dedicated leaders bring experience, passion, and a deep commitment to developing players both on and off the field.

From our youngest to our ECNL teams, every athlete at SRU is supported by coaches who believe in growth, hard work, and love for the game.

⚽️ Welcome Our New Boys Director: Sami Maamar ⚽️

We’re excited to announce that Sami Maamar is joining Santa Rosa United as our new Boys Director! After a highly competitive search, Sami stood out for his experience, leadership, and vision for player development.

Sami has coached and held leadership roles with San Francisco Glens, New York Red Bulls Youth Program, Liverpool FC International Academy (WA), and Western Washington Surf, where he most recently served as Assistant Elite Director and Club Technical Director. He holds a USSF B License, UEFA C License, and advanced certifications in video and performance analysis through USC, PFSA, and Barça Innovation Hub.

His philosophy centers on developing intelligent, confident, and creative players in a demanding but supportive environment where players are empowered to think, compete, and express themselves.

Sami also has deep roots in the Bay Area and is excited to return with his family, including his five-month-old daughter, Rio. He will be visiting in mid-April and May, before stepping fully into the role this summer.
