Initiated in 1975, for environmental activism within Sonoma County, "Environmentalist of the Year" recognizes the inspirational legacy of Ernestine I. Smith, awardee in 1980, and her generation of trail-blazing environmental leaders.
SCCC will be honoring awardees at the Environmental Awards webinar and the SCCC & Sierra Club Holiday Networking Party in December.
