Pack 25 had an incredible adventure at Sugarloaf State Park! The Bear Den spent time working on their Whittling Chip, learning safe knife handling and responsibility. Afterward, the rest of the Pack joined together for a short hike where Scouts enjoyed the outdoors and time together on the trail.
After the hike, Troop 707 graciously invited our Pack into their camp for chili and cornbread and to share their campfire. We are very thankful to Troop 707 for their hospitality and for welcoming our Scouts to be part of their evening.
The night finished with an amazing experience at the Robert Ferguson Observatory. Scouts and families were able to see Jupiter and its four largest moons, get a close-up look at the moon, view the Crab Nebula, and enjoy an excellent astronomy presentation. It was an unforgettable day full of learning, adventure, and fellowship!

The Scouts had an amazing time racing their cars, cheering each other on, and learning what good sportsmanship looks like—both on and off the track. Along the way, they also learned about design, creativity, and how small improvements can make a big difference.
A huge thank-you to Troop 707 for providing lunch and helping make the day even more special. We truly appreciate your support of our Scouts and our Pack!
What a fantastic day full of fun, learning, and fast cars!

The Bear Den had a fun and engaging den meeting where we talked about different types of safety equipment and why they are important to use in everyday situations. After the meeting, the Scouts headed out to Shiloh Ranch Regional Park for a hike.
While hiking, the Bears explored the park, worked together, and enjoyed the challenge of finding Geocaches along the way. It was a great day of learning, teamwork, and outdoor adventure, and the Scouts had a fantastic time getting out into nature.

Pack 25 welcomed the New Year the best way we know how—together, outdoors, and with a sense of adventure.
We began by gathering around a campfire, where Scouts learned and talked about fire safety . As the stone soup began to simmer, with each family contributing an ingredient, the Scouts set out on a hike to explore the winter landscape.
During the hike, Scouts kept their eyes open for signs of wildlife and were rewarded with sightings of California newts. The walk sparked great conversations about local habitats, seasonal changes, and respecting the natural world.
When we returned, the soup was ready to share. What started as a simple pot had become a hearty meal and a reminder of how working together creates something special. It was a meaningful way for Pack 25 to start the year—learning, exploring, and building community. Here’s to many more adventures in the year ahead!

Pack 25 hit the trail at Trione-Annadel State Park for a four-mile hike filled with exploration and discovery! Along the way, we took a closer look at the park’s unique geology, identified several native plants, and practiced using topographic maps to plan a route and understand the terrain.
It was a great day of learning, fresh air, and time together on the trail. Proud of all our Scouts for their curiosity and enthusiasm!
