We’re “scooping” up sweet new memories at West Village Studios! 🍦❤️
What better way to break the ice than with an Ice Cream Social? We had an un-cone-ditionally wonderful time meeting the incredible residents of West Village Studios in Arcata as we officially kicked off THRIVE’s supportive services in this amazing community.
This was just the first scoop of many exciting things to come, and we can’t wait to continue getting to know each and every resident. Thank you for welcoming us with open hearts—we’re honored to be part of the West Village family.
Here’s to new friendships, new opportunities, and making a lasting impact… one scoop at a time! 🍨💙

This weekend was all about building community at Vendra Gardens in Moorpark! 💙
Residents came together for an afternoon of great food, laughter, and connection. We fired up the grill with burgers and hot dogs, shared plenty of snacks, and the kids stole the show by making their own homemade cotton candy and the fan-favorite “unicorn bacon”!🦄🥓🍭
Community isn’t just about where you live, it’s about creating opportunities to laugh together, make memories, and build lasting relationships. Seeing neighbors connect, families spend time together, and children light up with excitement is exactly why we do what we do.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special. We can’t wait for the next opportunity to bring our Vendra Gardens community together!

🕺✨ Disco, Discussions & a Little Friendly Competition! ✨🕺
At THRIVE, our Town Halls are about more than just meetings. They’re about building community.
This month, residents gathered for our Disco-Themed Town Hall where we talked about important community updates, shared ideas, celebrated successes, and yes… even squeezed in an epic arm-wrestling match between one of our youngest residents and our Director of Supportive Services, James Bowen! 💪😄
Because creating thriving communities means making space for both meaningful conversations and meaningful connections. When residents feel comfortable, engaged, and heard, communities grow stronger together.
Thank you to everyone who joined us, shared their voices, and helped make the day both productive and groovy. Stay tuned for more fun, connection, and opportunities to make a difference right here in our community! 🪩🎶

🌟 Celebrating Community, Growth & Good Neighbors at Sage Commons! 🌟
One of the most rewarding parts of building community is taking time to recognize the people who make it special.
This week, residents came together to celebrate the conclusion of our May Good Citizen & Community Participation Program. Throughout the month, residents earned tickets by being good neighbors, contributing positively to the community, participating in activities, volunteering, helping others, and following community expectations. Every act of kindness, engagement, and respect helped strengthen the place we all call home.
At the end of the month, those tickets became entries into a community drawing, and we had the opportunity to celebrate some wonderful residents who made a positive impact throughout May. 🎉
While the gift cards and prizes are fun, the real victory is seeing residents connect, support one another, build friendships, and take pride in their community. Every person who attended an activity, lent a helping hand, encouraged a neighbor, or contributed to a positive atmosphere helped make Sage Commons a better place for everyone.
We are incredibly proud of the growth, engagement, and sense of belonging we continue to see each month. Thank you to all of our residents who choose to show up, get involved, and help create a community where everyone can thrive.
Here’s to another month of kindness, participation, and neighborly spirit! 💙🏡

As this Memorial Day comes to a close and you reflect on the moments that filled your weekend, the laughter, the gatherings, the rest, and the freedom to spend today as you chose, we invite you to pause for just a moment.
Tonight, as you lay your head down to rest, remember that this freedom came at a cost.
Remember the brave men and women who never made it home.
Remember the empty seats at family tables, the stories left unfinished, and the generations of service members whose sacrifice gave us the ability to enjoy ordinary moments that are anything but guaranteed.
At THRIVE, we hold gratitude for those who gave everything and for the families who continue to carry their memory forward.
May we never take for granted the freedoms we live each day and may we honor their legacy not only in remembrance, but in how we care for one another.
Tonight, we remember.
We honor.
We are grateful.

🪡🥑 Pillow making, creativity, and BIG smiles in Bakersfield today!
Our amazing kids got hands on and learned how to make their very own adorable pillows with Resident Services Coordinator Brenda. From choosing fabrics to stuffing and bringing their creations to life, they built more than pillows today… they built confidence, practiced patience, explored creativity, and had a whole lot of fun along the way.
Programs like these remind us that supportive housing is about more than a place to live. It is about creating opportunities for children to learn new skills, express themselves, and make joyful memories in their community.
Great job to all of our young creators and a special thank you to Brenda for bringing another fun and meaningful activity to life for our residents 💚✨

Some people are fighting battles you will never see.
The mom smiling at the food distribution while wondering how she will survive another night of anxiety.
The veteran sitting quietly at bingo trying to silence memories that never stop replaying.
The senior who says “I’m okay” because they do not want to feel like a burden.
The teenager hiding panic attacks behind headphones and a forced smile.
The person who feels completely alone in a room full of people.
At THRIVE, we see you.
We see the strength it takes to wake up when your mind tells you not to.
We see the courage it takes to ask for help.
We see the silent victories nobody claps for.
Getting out of bed.
Showing up to group.
Answering the phone.
Trying again.
Mental health does not discriminate.
It affects people with homes and without them.
Parents, children, veterans, seniors, neighbors, friends.
And healing is not linear.
Some days survival is the victory.
Some days hope is borrowed from the people around you until you can hold it on your own again.
This Mental Health Awareness Month, THRIVE stands with every person who has ever felt broken, forgotten, overwhelmed, anxious, depressed, exhausted, or invisible.
Your story is not over.
You are not “too much.”
You are not weak for struggling.
You are worthy of support, compassion, and healing.
And no matter how dark today feels, there is still a future version of you that is thankful you kept going.
If you are struggling, please reach out.
You do not have to carry it alone.

Happy Mother’s Day from THRIVE 💐
This week our community came together to make handmade paper flowers as gifts for the amazing moms, grandmothers, mother figures, and caregivers in our communities. Every flower was created with love, appreciation, and gratitude for the women who show strength, compassion, sacrifice, and unconditional love every single day.
At THRIVE, we know that motherhood comes in many forms, and today we celebrate all those who nurture, guide, protect, and hold families together through life’s challenges. Watching residents laugh, create, and connect while making these special gifts was a beautiful reminder that small acts of kindness can mean so much.
To all the moms in our communities, thank you for all you do. We see you, we appreciate you, and we celebrate you today and every day. 🌸💕
