Oncology Professional Gratitude Day is dedicated to honoring all oncology professionals across the North Bay — physicians, nurses, social workers, administrators and support staff — whose tireless work makes a profound difference in the lives of patients and families. Each year, NBCA hosts an afternoon of appreciation filled with speakers, prizes, and camaraderie. We also honor one oncology professional with the Oncology Professional of the Year Award. NBCA Executive Director Kent Corley and his wife Eileen completed the 35 laps of the Frozen 5K Fundraiser at Snoopy's Home Ice this past weekend. The skaters raised money for Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation's SK8 to Elimin8 Cancer. It was a fun and successful evening.
