I went all in on the carnivore diet yesterday.
You know me, I’ve never been the biggest lover of vegetables anyway, and we know protein is almost impossible to convert to body fat, so it seemed like the perfect opportunity to give it a try.
Burgers, hot dogs, chicken and, as you can see, ice cream.
Before anyone tells me ice cream isn’t carnivore, neither was the bun on my burger, the chips or probably half the other things I ate.
It was July 4th. I ate what I wanted, enjoyed it and today I’ll go back to eating normally.
I won’t fast all day or try to burn it off with two hours of cardio, but I’m also not going to pretend yesterday didn’t count because calories apparently don’t count on holidays.
Patti L - plt tells me they don’t count in Texas either, but I have my doubts about that one.
The problem is rarely one day of eating more than usual. The problem is when July 4th becomes July 4th weekend, the leftovers continue through Monday and by Tuesday you’re promising yourself you’ll start again next week.
Enjoy the ice cream.
Then go back to normal.
