Throwback to a project that we oversaw a few years back, refinishing the stone in escalator bays to the updated look and feel of natural wood, from the previous polished stone finish. The true beauty of using these finishes is that the stone substrate is not damaged, so it can be reclaimed later should the design of the space change.

During my time in Japan, I never ceased to be amazed by the beauty and grace of the culture. Yes, it can be a little weird at times (Hello Kitty is EVERYWHERE) but the culture has an amazing, eternal eye for beauty and design. I so miss Japan...hoping to return soon.
