Did you know that almost every stuffed animal we contains plastic pellets? Plastic pellets are estimated to be the second largest direct source of microplastic pollution to the ocean by weight.

As part of our commitment to we also are committed to recycling these pellets instead of throwing them away. We sell pellets in 1 cup proportions or in the various sizes of pre-stitched fabric pouches we often find inside plushies. Visit our Etsy shop to learn more, link in profile. ❤️

Help Bring Luis Home Now, organized by Ruth Sheehan 11/29/2022

Dear RePurposed Lives Friends,

This little social business was started because we wanted to find a way to support at-risk children and families, both here in the US and around the world. Normally on we would be making gifts to one the nonprofits we support. However, this year another important cause is the recipient of the profit raised from our efforts to .

Ruth Sheehan, a fellow adoptive mama we've known since 2007, continues a long and unimaginable struggle to complete the adoption of her son Luis. Luis is now 15 years old and Ruth lives in Guatemala to be near him as she is the only mother he has ever known. Although Ruth is able to work remotely, the cost of living in Guatemala and fighting an impossible legal battle for 15 years is challenging. You can read more about her story through several updates on this GoFundMe page.

Although you will not get tax deductible donations by giving to this cause today, we at Repurposed Lives continue to hope that one day Ruth and Luis will be able to come home and be a forever family. Thank you for supporting our mission and considering a special gift today to Ruth & Luis. ❤️
