The story of Edward Bloom, a traveling salesman who lives life to its fullest…and then some! His incredible, larger-than-life stories thrill everyone around him—most of all, his devoted wife Sandra. But their son Will, about to have a child of his own, is determined to find the truth behind the epic tales. Overflowing with heart and humor, BIG FISH is an extraordinary musical that reminds us why we love going to the theatre—for an experience that’s richer, funnier and bigger than life itself.

When art and music combine, amazing things take shape in our minds and hearts ❤️ I’ve had the best time collaborating with and ‘s ZOTA Quartet over the past few days, and last night we were able to bring this unique concert and exhibition to life for the community to enjoy. Because I live with sound to color synesthesia, the sounds around me always influence the undertone of my work. But it’s very rare that I allow this part of my brain to take complete control of the narrative while I create. My piece went through a JOURNEY and turned out being nothing like what I planned going into this adventure… and I love it all the more for the role it’s played in healing my heart and creative soul during a rather chaotic time in my life. Rooted in abstraction, it began as four separate ink paintings rendered very quickly while listening to four different pieces of music played by the phenomenal ZOTA Quartet. I wasn’t sure yet what this would become. Perhaps I would pick my favorite or completely tear them apart to reassemble in a multimedia piece… but then I heard their rendition of Franz Schubert’s String Quartet No. 14 “ Death and the Maiden” and a new vision began to solidify. The final product is a representational depiction of the Maiden’s final view from her death bed. Lying in darkness, she gazes out into a glittering world of light which kaleidoscopes together moments of her life and the ether beyond our physical existence. There is profound beauty to be had in the dueling natures of the finite body and infinite soul, and I am so grateful for the moments of personal reflection and insight captured in this piece.
Thank you to everyone who was able to participate in and enjoy this unique program. I look forward to attracting more opportunities to collide creative worlds in the future 🥰🎶🎨

I’ve spent the last two afternoons collaborating with ZOTA Quartet and to bring this unique artistic program to life. The creations of 24 amazing local artists will be on display alongside beautiful music we’ve been serenaded and inspired by during this process. This program has been especially moving for me in some ways I didn’t fully expect, and I look forward to sharing what I’ve created with you on Monday! ❤️ Be sure to join us! 🎻
