"Challenging Behaviors in Autism"

We’re excited to welcome Dr. Kayla Randall from Georgia Southern University’s Armstrong Campus as our next presenter for Mercer University School of Medicine’s Rural Autism ECHO!

Dr. Randall will be leading a session on “Challenging Behaviors in Autism,” where she’ll explore why autistic children, teens, and adults may engage in dangerous or harmful behaviors. She’ll also share practical strategies that caregivers, professionals, and community members can use to better understand and support individuals in changing these behaviors.

Join us on Wednesday April 29th at noon!

✨ New Feature Alert on the Autism Toolkit! ✨

We’re excited to share something new with you: our Location Pages are now live on the Autism Toolkit website!

These pages are designed to make it easier to find the support you need by gathering autism resources all in one place based on where you live in Georgia. From therapy providers and support groups to recreational opportunities and more, we’re working to create guides for cities and towns across Georgia!

📍 So far, we’ve created location pages for:
• Athens: https://www.autismtoolkit.org/autism-resources-athens/
• Dublin: https://www.autismtoolkit.org/autism-resources-dublin/
• Milledgeville: https://www.autismtoolkit.org/milledgeville/
• St. Marys/Kingsland: https://www.autismtoolkit.org/autism-resources-st-marys-and-kingsland/
• Tifton: https://www.autismtoolkit.org/autism-resources-tifton/

…and we’re just getting started - more locations are on the way!

💬 We’d love your input:
• What city or town should we build next?
• Do you know of a great resource in your area that we should include?

Drop your suggestions in the comments or send them our way - we’re building this for YOU and your community!
