Been working on this idea for a bit off and on.
Stained and sealed Birch wood provides the base for a reverse engraved acrylic top piece. Allowing light to shine through from the open back keeps these earrings light. Both in actual weight on the ear and aesthetics.
By simply changing the engraving or acrylic style, this design has endless potential for variations and can take whatever look you want.
