The evacuation order has been lifted for Chatham County. A recovery team will assess the plant this afternoon with goal of turning on lights, power, servers and completing any necessary cleanup. The front office will reopen for normal operations at 9:00 AM Friday unless otherwise noted. Please do not come to the office before then as it will be completely closed up tonight.
Operations personnel scheduled to work Friday day shift please arrive at 9:00 AM. Normal scheduling / staffing will resume at that time. Any questions please reach out to your supervisor.
The Savannah Plant Closing Schedule:
• Only essential operations and maintenance staff should be on-site today and tomorrow Tuesday, September 3. Please speak to your supervisor/manager regarding your schedule.
Communications Regarding Reopening:
• A call-in number has been created to hear a pre-recorded message regarding when the plant will reopen.
• The call-in number is 740-522-9382 and will be updated daily.
• Please check your cell phone and/or work e-mail. We will be sending mass text messages and e-mails regarding when the site will reopen.
• The text messages will come from a toll free number - (833) 816-1647.
• Do not reply to the toll free number text message. These text messages are to distribute information only.
