Meaningful growth can also be seen in areas that are not always immediately noticeable but have a significant impact on a child’s daily life.
Examples may include:
• Transitioning between activities with less difficulty
• Tolerating changes in routine
• Participating in group activities for longer periods
• Expressing emotions in a more effective way
• Completing parts of a task independently
• Demonstrating increased flexibility when faced with challenges
These types of skills can improve a child’s ability to navigate everyday situations, build relationships, and engage more confidently in their environment. As new abilities emerge, they often create opportunities for continued learning and greater participation at home, school, and in the community.
Supporting development involves recognizing effort, encouraging persistence, and understanding that growth can occur in many different forms. Consistent encouragement and opportunities to practice new skills can help children continue moving toward their individual goals.

Every child develops at their own pace, but some may experience challenges with communication, daily routines, social interactions, or managing emotions.
Difficulty expressing wants and needs, frequent frustration, challenges with transitions, social communication differences, or repetitive behaviors may be signs that additional support could help.
ABA therapy is an evidence-based approach that teaches practical skills to improve communication, independence, social interaction, and daily living abilities. Services are individualized to meet each child's unique strengths and needs.
Support is not about changing who a child is. It is about helping them build skills that make everyday life easier and more meaningful.
If you have questions about your child's development or would like to learn more about ABA services, we're here to help.

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸
Memorial Day is a time to reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of those who served and protected others with selflessness and strength.
As we spend time with family and loved ones today, we also pause to remember the heroes whose sacrifices made those moments possible.
Thank you to all who have served, and especially to those we remember today. ❤️🤍💙

Every child brings something unique to the world. ✨
Some children shine through creativity.
Some through curiosity.
Some through the way they see, think, and experience life differently.
Growth does not look the same for every child, and that is okay. What matters most is creating support that helps them build confidence, strengthen everyday skills, and feel understood along the way.
At Aurora, we believe in meeting children where they are and helping them grow at their own pace, in their own way. 💙

Progress doesn’t always look big at first.
Sometimes it’s a child trying again after frustration.
Making eye contact for a few more seconds.
Using a new word.
Following a routine with a little less support.
These moments may seem small to others, but for families, they can mean everything. 💙
Real progress takes time, patience, and consistent support. And every step forward deserves to be celebrated.
We accept Amerigroup, Georgia Medicaid, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Aetna.

You ask your child a question.
They don’t answer right away.
It can feel like they’re not listening.
But many children need time to process what they hear, understand it, and figure out how to respond.
Listening takes more than hearing. It takes time, space, and support.
When we slow down and give that space, we help children feel understood and more confident in their communication.
If you need support, we’re here for you.
Visit www.auroraaba.com or call (912) 349-3198 to get started.

Your child is trying to tell you something, even when they don’t have the words yet.
You might see frustration.
Crying.
Pushing things away.
But underneath that behavior is a need.
When words are hard, behavior becomes the way they communicate.
Autism acceptance means recognizing this and responding with understanding, not judgment.
When we shift how we see behavior, we can start to teach new ways to communicate and make daily moments feel a little easier.
You don’t have to figure it out alone. We’re here to support you.
