If comfort food had an address, it might just be Stacy’s Scratch Kitchen. 🤤❤️

From the first sip to the last bite, every dish felt like a warm hug. We kicked things off with Strawberry Dreams, a Wanna Be a P**n Star Martini, and a dirty martini with house-stuffed olives before diving into an unforgettable lineup of starters: fire roasted peach bruschetta, bang bang shrimp, barbecue pork belly, fried lasagna pinwheels, and fresh bread with garlic chive and raspberry spreads.

For dinner, the crab stuffed shrimp over pimento cheddar polenta was incredible, the French onion burger delivered all the comfort-food vibes, and the Boss B Dinner featuring an 8oz Wagyu flat iron stole the show. But the most over-the-top dish? A whole lobster stuffed with mac & cheese and topped with ribeye. 😍

And because Martyna and I are officially kicking off birthday month, we ended the night with lemon, chocolate, and banana cream cake complete with a candle. 🎂✨

A huge shoutout to our waitress Molly, who made the entire experience even better with her amazing service.

When my friend Katie was in town from Charleston, I knew exactly where I wanted to take her.

There are plenty of places with great food, but Standard Fare is one of those rare spots where the hospitality is just as memorable as what’s on the table. From the moment you walk in, you feel like a regular.

We kicked things off with the new cocktail menu (the Sure, BET and Dirty Martini are both worth ordering), then dove into grilled octopus skewers, smashed cucumber, and tuna carpaccio before moving on to some standouts from the new dinner menu.

The miso cod was buttery and packed with flavor, the zucchini lasagna was a pleasant surprise, and the herbed mash and balsamic grilled peaches made the perfect accompaniments.

And then came dessert: a giant chocolate chip cookie that somehow disappeared much faster than it should have. 🍪
