Well, the city of Schenectady is back at it again. Ruining the rest of what's left of Franklin St. Limited street parking will continue as a permanent thing. Rather than giving the city more money with parking fees and parking tickets, please use the free parking lot between 650 and 670 Franklin for your appointments. Street parking is free after 6:00 pm and on weekends. However, the few spots in front go quick. If it's dark when you use the parking lot, I'd be more than happy to walk you, to and from your vehicle. See you soon. - Beth

The differences in exfoliation methods.
Metabolic/Chemical Peels Exfoliation:
Traditional chemical peels use high percentages of harsh acids that sit on the outermost layer of skin and slowly absorb in, resulting in excess shedding and irritation. My Metabolic Peels are safe for all Fitzpatrick types and offer a viable solution for any skin condition, including the most sensitive.
Some peels I offer are not self-neutralizing, meaning they will need to be removed at the end of your appointment, can also provide great results. While those that are self-neutralizing can remain on the skin up to and over 8 hours. Therefore, you would leave your appointment while the self-neutralizing peel is still on your skin.
Microdermabrasion exfoliation: A diamond tip applicator with the force of suction mechanically exfoliates and resurfaces the skin by removing dead skin cells. Also, decreases the appearance of large pores, mild scarring, lines and epidermal hyperpigmentation. Microdermabrasion can also be done on other areas of the body and is used in my back treatments.
Dermaplaning exfoliation: A medical-grade scalpel is gently glided across the top layer of the skin to exfoliate and remove dead skin cells. The end results are smoother appearing skin with the featured benefit of eliminating fine, vellus hair from the skin’s surface.
DynamiCO2/Bubble Pen’s exfoliation method: The movements made to generate CO2 bubbles on the skin surface will organically exfoliate dead surface cells. This aids in skin health and the further ability of the skin to accept product ingredients. DynamiCO2/Bubble Pen can also be done on other areas of the body and is used in my back treatments.
