Schenectady Police Investigating Stabbing Incident

The Schenectady Police Department's Detective Division is currently investigating a stabbing incident that occurred on the evening of June 2, 2026. At approximately 9:59 p.m., officers responded to the 800 block of State Street for the report of an adult male suffering from a stab wound to the neck. Upon arrival, officers provided initial medical attention to the individual, who was conscious but in serious condition. He was treated at the scene by paramedics from the Schenectady Fire Department and transported to a local hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment.
