Alan goes the extra mile for his students and advocates for their success. To combat challenging rider behaviors on Green Bus, Alan worked with Elementary School administrators to develop a bus monitor and safety mentorship program. This program helped improve the riding experience on Green this year making it a safer and more pleasant ride for everyone. Alan comes in early before routes to prepare a spare bus daily for those days when something goes wrong, which happens more than we’d like to admit. This allowed Transportation to bring a new bus quickly during several emergency situations this year. His positive attitude is infectious.
