Yoga Curious? If you are new to yoga, your doctor or golf partner suggested you take up yoga, or you have taken a few classes and want to better understand the practice, this is for you. This Saturday, 10:30-12:30 a small group of us will meet at in Seaside to talk about the different approaches and styles, what yoga is and is not, how & when to use props, how to find your teachers and we will move and practice throughout. $40, sign up link in bio.

There seems to be two types of people in winter: Those who say they can’t get motivated to come to yoga because it is chilly and dark outside and then there are those who dive into the routine of evening yoga because they know if they stay home, they’ll just lay on the couch. Honestly, I’m a bit of a dabbler but this time of year, I look forward to Friday 6pm yin all week long and it never dissappoints. Hope to see you for a warming flow, stretch or yin class soon.

This workshop covers the basics in what yoga is and what it is not, styles of yoga from Bikram to restorative and how to find your style, prop usage, key poses and sampler practice. Modifications offered.
