A few weeks ago, our Science Illustration students took their classroom to the Monterey Breakwater — sketchbooks in hand, ready to capture the beauty of the coast. 🌊🪸

Through field sketching, they observed marine life, studied textures, and practiced translating the natural world into art. Every stroke becomes a bridge between science and creativity — a reminder of how learning happens best when surrounded by inspiration.
