ACAP Residency Week participants are immersed in the college experience as they stay overnight at the University of Washington for a week, experiencing campus and learning about student life, academics, and the many opportunities offered on campus. Participants hear from and interact with campus and industry professionals about life on campus, about applying to college and pursuing accounting and business-related majors, and about the opportunities and realities of working in the accounting field after college. Residency week also introduces students to the accounting profession through off-campus meetings, events, and visits to major accounting firms and local businesses.
Events throughout the week are led by accounting professionals, University of Washington faculty and staff, counselors, and Residency Week alumni and board members.
