Meet Frenzy🌪️ She’s an aptly named one year old Belgian Malinois! This leggy lady is working through her teenage feelings and building foundations for a future in dog sports!

During adolescence, struggles with behavioral challenges and resistance to training, are a normal part of the developmental process! This phase, characterized by hormonal changes and increased independence, can be very disheartening for pet owners. However, with patience, consistency, and some empathy, most dogs overcome these challenges and mature into great canine counterpart’s! What did your dog struggle with when they were angsty teens?

Congratulations Erin and Arlo on completing your CGC and TKN certification! It's been so fun to see your progress and hard work in overcoming Arlo's challenges with car chasing and dog reactivity.

For those who are unfamiliar, the CGC (Canine Good Citizen) and TKN (Trick Dog Novice) certifications are an excellent way to demonstrate your dog's training and obedience skills. The CGC shows that your dog can follow basic commands and behave well in public, while the TKN showcases your dog's ability to perform specific tricks and commands.

These certifications can be incredibly beneficial for both you and your dog. They can even lower your homeowner's insurance rates! Additionally, they can be a great way to bond with your dog and showcase their unique abilities.

Congratulations again to Erin and Arlo on this amazing accomplishment! We wish you all the best in your continued training and look forward to seeing all that you both will achieve in the future!

Meet Nilla! 🐾

Nilla is an Australian Shepherd with big feelings about the world!

She’s doing a Board and Train with us to recondition negative feelings and learn ways she can enjoy the world! We’re working on creating better alternatives to dog and human reactivity, practicing emotional regulation, muzzle training, and learning to settle in the home!

Nilla does have a bite history, which means it’s important for us to get her on a realistic routine and training plan to prevent any potential future injuries. We know she can stress easily so a fair clear training plan is essential to prevent unnecessary stress and start her on the right foot!

Nilla’s got this! 👏🏼
