This is a giant Temnodontosaurus ichthyosaur skull on display at the excellent Lyme Regis Museum.

The skull was found by Mike Harrison and comes from the local Jurassic cliffs. It is around 195 million years old. Above that skull is a replica of the first skull found by Mary and Joseph Anning.

It's been a fun day filming in Lyme Regis for an upcoming documentary on ichthyosaurs. Stay tuned! 🎥
