This Saturday, December 20th, we are officially opening for daily operations with special limited access, in collaboration with @wsdot. We’d like to extend our sincere thanks to their team as well as the entire Crystal Community during this period of historic weather. Mother Nature turned the faucet to cold and decent accumulations are forecasted for the weekend. Green Valley will be open via upload and download of the Mount Rainier Gondola, as well as Chinook and Discovery.

Please refer to the Mountain Report page for critical info on our limited access parking plan, and as always, for the most up-to-date information on operations and conditions.

Additionally, everyone’s favorite legacy REX will debut it’s opening Sunday, December 21st. We’ll kick it off with a party at Midway Yurt along with limited edition swag!

We encourage everyone, visitors, residents, and partners, to work together to keep this access open. By following guidelines, planning ahead, and respecting the efforts of WSDOT and local stakeholders, we can preserve this vital connection for all. Crystal Mountain is committed to return to regular access as soon as Highway 410 repairs are completed. Safety is the top priority, on the mountain and on the road.
