As the volunteer teams are preparing for December deliveries (yes, we are still in need of drivers!) — we wanted to note that this work only happens because of your participation (THANK YOU!) and the incredible partnerships we have with and (learn more about them via the link in our bio).
If you have never participated in mutual aid, we hope you will consider donating your time or resources to one this winter. We need each other more not less. Those who feed us deserve JOY. Through the rest of 2025, these incredible bookstores are partnering with us to gather books for the children of farmworkers. Creative joy has been a founding principle of this mutual aid. Since 2020, we’ve distributed over 1,000 books across the Lower Yakima Valley, Skagit, Wenatchee, Ephrata, and Mount Vernon. “For many of our families, this is the first new item they’ve ever had” says community partners at We hope you join us this holiday season in bringing imagination, stories, and joy to the families who feed us all.
