compact CLT volumes form the thermal core of the ‘house within a (green)house project. these simple forms are nestled within the greenhouse envelope where operable openings allow daily life to expand outward, creating layered boundaries between living spaces, greenhouse gardens, and the rolling hills of the Vermont landscape beyond.

design studies are underway for a new urban .us site… materializing hot/cold and dry/wet contrast into built form through rhythms of shelter/exposure and social/grounding spaces.
