EUC Tire Tips:

Tire sizing is straightforward for street (width × aspect ratio × rim diameter) and inconsistent/weird for knobby tires — multiple sizing conventions, less standardized.

Softer compound = better traction but more flex, which reduces upright bias. Higher pressure = more upright bias, less lean.

Narrower tire = leans further over more easily.

Tubeless over tubed — less flats, better pressure retention.

Use tubeless sealant not slime, slime corrodes your rim.
Knobby tires on street die fast because the lugs wear unevenly from the extra friction.

Street tires are durable basically anywhere on the contact patch.

Lean angle changes the effective contact diameter, which is what creates the arc of a turn. Rounded tire profiles amplify this effect, square/knobby profiles dampen it.
