The ones who taught us how to show up, how to care deeply, how to keep going—and how to make life feel a little more grounded and a little more full.

At :Nota Bene, we’re especially thinking of Carol, who has shaped so much of how we think about wine, family, and gathering around a table. Her presence is in every pour we share.

But today isn’t just about one mother—it’s about all of them. The ones we’re born to, the ones we choose, the ones we miss, and the ones still right beside us.

To every mom—thank you. And cheers to you today 🥂

23 of you gathered around the table at a/stir—seven courses, a lineup of wines, and the kind of conversation that only happens when no one’s in a hurry.

These dinners are always a reminder for us.
Wine shows differently in a setting like this—slower, more thoughtful, and shared. That’s really the point.

Thank you for showing up, for asking questions, for leaning into each pairing, and for making the night what it was.

And a big thank you to Chef Ton—the menu didn’t just complement the wines, it challenged and elevated them in all the right ways.
